Volunteer Liberia
Volunteer Liberia facilitates internships and volunteering opportunities for students, gap year, professionals and any individual interested in promoting social justice and the sustainable development of local communities. We work with driven organizations across Liberia who share these goals with a true passion for positive change. We have several exciting positions that correspond with each individual’s studies, interests and aspirations. We can even offer you opportunities online!
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our Internship Program places college and university students in various organizational roles to complete specific projects, research, or studies. Choose the field that matches your background and professional goals in one of our destinations. Once you find the perfect program, fill out our application form. We will contact you within 48 working hours to evaluate your application and discuss placement options.
These unpaid internships offer practical and meaningful experiences through carefully designed projects. Participants typically spend 8-16 hours per week at their internship unless otherwise noted in the project description. Our projects are realistically achievable and align with the intern’s educational background and objectives.
Who Qualifies?
Junior, senior, or graduate level students who are currently enrolled in good academic standing and will be completing their internships for academic credit at a college/university. If your college/university would like to find out how to partner with us, please contact us at [email protected]
How can my college/university partner with the program?
E-mail us at [email protected] and provide us with the name of your college or university’s Internship Coordinator, as well as their phone number and email address. We will contact them and inquire about an agreement.
What can I do if the project list does not include any projects relevant to my academic requirement and/or major?
Please email us at [email protected] with a brief description of your course requirement and/or major. We will reach out to organizations/institutions offering such opportunity on your behalf.
Can I e-mail my resume and project selections directly to someone?
Your application for the program must be completed online and will include an opportunity for you to list your project selections as well as attach your resume
