Volunteer Liberia
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our Internship Program is designed to place college/ university students within various areas of organizations as student interns for the completion of specific projects, research, or studies. You first choose the field that matches your background and professional goals in one of our destinations. Once you the program that better suits you fill out our application form, we are in touch with you within 48 working hours to evaluate your application and work with you on where we can place you given the available options.
These internships are unpaid and projects are carefully designed to offer each intern a practical and meaningful internship experience. Participants normally spend 8- 16 hours per week at their internship unless noted differently on the project description. Our projects are realistically and reasonably achievable and of interest to the intern (i.e., be consistent with their educational background and internship objectives.
Who Qualifies?
Junior, senior, or graduate level students who are currently enrolled in good academic standing and will be completing their internships for academic credit at a college/university. If your college/university would like to find out how to partner with us, please contact us at [email protected]
How can my college/university partner with the program?
E-mail us at [email protected] and provide us with the name of your college or university’s Internship Coordinator, as well as their phone number and email address. We will contact them and inquire about an agreement.
What can I do if the project list does not include any projects relevant to my academic requirement and/or major?
Please email us at [email protected] with a brief description of your course requirement and/or major. We will reach out to organizations/institutions offering such opportunity on your behalf.
Can I e-mail my resume and project selections directly to someone?
Your application for the program must be completed online and will include an opportunity for you to list your project selections as well as attach your resume
